FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

TREX Associates, Inc. pushes IDUG Europe session.

Session F11 at IDUG Europe on October 9, 2003.

September 1, 2003 -- TREX Associates, Inc. encourages attendees to be there for session F11 on October 9, 2003.  The session is entitled, "I Know How to Tune SQL, What SQL Do I Tune?".  Tuning SQL is an important performance task for DB2 professionals. Knowing which SQL statement to tune is not always so clear. This presentation will describe a methodology for collecting execution statistics, analyzing them and determining which statements if tuned would provide the user with the most noticeable improvement in performance.

Anyone responsible for the performance of a DB2 subsystem or application will derive great benefit from this presentation and the specific processes that can be employed to tune DB2 proactively.  Don't wait for the phone to ring, take charge and begin to tune DB2 SQL first.

Come to this session and get acquainted with the data that can lead to great tuning opportunities.  Then use these opportunities to greatly improve DB2 performance.

Make your plans to be there right now.
